What have you done lately that has excited you or made you happy? During this time of social distancing it has been hard on me as I am a bit of a social butterfly. So, I came up with a list of things we can do that we will never regret doing.
- Exploring somewhere new
- Watching the sunset
- Worrying less
- Learning a new language
- Reading a good book
- Learning how to bake and cook
- Self- care
- Slowing down to enjoy the little things in life
- Being yourself authentic self
- Drinking more water
- Give something away to a person who admires it
- Experience another culture through online experience
- Taking a long walk
- Playing relaxing music
- Trying meditation (5 minutes a day) then work your way up
- Smile at a stranger, even if you are wearing a mask, your eyes will let them know you are smiling
- Go on an unplanned drive
- Hug your pets
- Save Money
- Be grateful for everything
- Call a friend you haven’t spoken to for a while
- Find your passion
- Volunteer at a local food bank or soup kitchen
- Overcome an addiction (mine is Thrift Stores)
- Giving all you’ve got to something important
- Overcoming your fear of something (Spiders for me YIKES)
- Letting go of a bad relationship
- Spend time with the people you cherish and love
- Make exercise a priority
- Forgive someone
Try one of these things today or better yet, come up with your own list.
